The Scarpati call themselves a tribe, as the native American Ranquel, from whom they learn their art. They live in the Argentinean Pampas, in a ranch where their many horses can run free.
The members of Scarpati tribe are well known for their exceptional way to tame horses, with absolutely never resorting to violence, but patience and deep understanding of this animal’s nature instead. They named their technique Doma India, Indian Tame.
Oscar, the head of the family, devoted his life to horses, his best companions, since he was a child.
When entering the farmyard, the 70-year-old man turns into a foal himself, his eyes shining and his body moving quickly and he easily earns the horse’s trust.
“The secret is very simple: show your soul to the horse and he’ll show you his”, we whispers.
